Isobel's obituary
January 13th, 2021. Ms. Warren was born March 25, 1923 in Rochester,
NY. to Dr. Sol J. and Mildred Appelbaum.
For many years she was an avid artist, attending the Corcoran School of
Art. She enjoyed a lifelong career in retail, at Lord & Taylor,
Garfinkle's and Saks Fifth Avenue. She was an active member of the
Chevy Chase Women's Republican Club, as well as a devoted volunteer at
the Suburban Outpatient Surgery Center for fifteen years. She was also
an active member of the Keenagers Senior Ministry at her church, First
Baptist of Rockville.
She is survived by her daughters Susan Warren of Rockville, MD, and
Caryl McBride, of Wilmington, NC, as well as two grandchildren, Alex and
Amy McBride, of Wilmington. She is predeceased by her former husband
Henry Warren, her son Andrew Warren, and her two sisters Eleanor
Feinberg and Jean Natapow.
A 'Celebration of Life' will be held at First Baptist Rockville, at a
later date. In lieu of flowers, gifts can be directed to Montgomery
Hospice, Inc. 1355 Piccard Drive, Suite 100, Rockville, MD 20850.
