Background
This past week, my family and I faced an incredibly difficult loss. Our father passed away unexpectedly, leaving us to navigate the heartbreaking process of saying goodbye. What made this even harder was the financial burden of arranging his funeral.
My dad didn’t have life insurance, and we didn’t have the savings to cover the cost. Myself and my three siblings came together to ensure he had the proper farewell, but we had to use credit cards and even put up vehicle titles as collateral to make it happen. We were determined to honor him, but it has left us in significant financial debt.
Our dad was a hardworking, loving man who always put his family first. He taught us the value of compassion and resilience, and we want to reflect those values now as we work through this difficult time. However, the financial strain has been overwhelming.
We’re humbly asking for help to pay off the debt we incurred for his funeral. Any contribution, no matter the size, would mean the world to us. It would help ease this burden and allow us to focus on honoring his memory and supporting one another through this journey.
