Isaiah's obituary
Isaiah Anthony Tate, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on January 7, 2024. Born on December 10, 2000, Isaiah, also affectionately known as Bug, shared his joy, love, and kindness with those who were privileged to know him.
Isaiah is survived by his father, Aaron Tate, his mother, Leatrice Tate, his brother, Gabriel Tate, and his sister, Michaela Tate. His cherished grandmothers, Francis Edwards, and Carlissa Harris-Tate. His great-grandmothers Edith Sims and Maggie Tate as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. Isaiah was predeceased by his grandfathers, Anderson Tate Jr. and Zachery Edwards, his uncles, Samuel Tate and Zachery Edwards, Jr., and his grandmother, Dolores Edwards.
Isaiah graduated from middle school in 2015 and completed his high school education at Ohio Virtual Academy in 2019. His zest for life was evident in his love for making music, painting, and spending quality time with family and friends. Isaiah had a penchant for Tacos at Cilantro, Salmon, Jarito’s drinks, and Papa's cooking, and his favorite books included Jesus—The Way, the Truth, the Life, and the Bible. As an ardent fan of The Office, Total Drama Island, Anime, and Everybody Hates Chris, laughter was a familiar sound in his home. Among his favorite artists were Drake, Future, Tyler the Creator, R & B hits and many more.
Isaiah's faith played a significant role in his life. He was an attendee at Woodmere Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and marked his dedication to Jehovah symbolically on July 31, 2020. His care and love for his family were titled supreme among the causes he championed. Gifted with a joyful, loving, and funny personality, Isaiah was also known for his exceptional style, Royal Blue was the color he favored over all others, bowties his signature attire, and he was often with adorned a hat.
Intrinsic to Isaiah's lovable disposition was his ability to befriend, care, and love in a gentle way. His smile, laughter, style, generosity, and kindness are the memories he leaves behind, and it is this legacy that will keep him alive in the hearts of those he touched.
