Izzy's obituary
We mourn the loss of Isaiah "Izzy" Aguilar, a cherished son, brother, and uncle who was known for his vibrant personality and unstoppable spirit. Born on August 9, 2000, Izzy's life was cut tragically short on May 11, 2024. Loved by many, Izzy leaves behind an indelible legacy of unapologetic authenticity and boundless love.
The world will remember Izzy as a man with no filter, a person who was unashamedly unique, sassy, outgoing, and loving. He taught many to always be themselves, no matter who was watching, a lesson that will continue to inspire his family. He leaves behind a legacy of fearlessness, reminding us all never to shy away from being true to ourselves and caring deeply for those we love.
One of Izzy's greatest accomplishments was his successful career where he was proud to serve as a supervisor. He was a hardworking young man who would not let anyone or anything stand in his way. His determination and dedication were a testament to his strong character and will be remembered fondly by those who had the privilege to work with him.
Izzy is survived by an extensive, loving family. His loss will be profoundly felt by his mother Gina Perez, sisters Marcalina Reymundo, Viviana Perez, Juliana Perez, Ayana Aguilar, Makayla Perez; and brother Jovan Aguilar. Izzy's love extended to his nieces Alianna Mendoza, Alisianna Reymundo-Torres, Sofia Torres-Reymundo, Alexianna Torres-Reymundo, Raelynn Butler, Nevaeh Levad, and his beloved child Nala Aguilar. An adored nephew and cousin, Izzy is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss his presence deeply.
Regrettably, Izzy was predeceased by his father, Roberto Perez, his grandparents Nora "Noni" Reymundo (Branstetter), Mary Branstetter, Gilbert Branstetter, and other beloved family members who went before him.
As we remember Izzy, we hold tight to the love he infused in our lives and the vibrant spirit he embodied. His sister shared, "I will spend the rest of my life missing my little brother, not a day goes by that I don't feel empty without his love, support, and company." Our hearts are with all who loved Izzy during this difficult time.
May we all honor Izzy's memory by embracing his teachings of self-love and authenticity, remembering that each day is a gift, and love is the greatest treasure we can offer to the world.
