Isabella's obituary
Isabella Mister Jolia,22, passed away in Miami Florida, after a long struggle with substance abuse disorder.
Jolia is survived by her beloved daughter, Autumn Jane Jolia; her parents, Owen and Walter Jaeger, III, and John Harvie Martin III; her siblings, Reynolds Martin Smith (Carter), Luke Martin, Kate Martin, and Matthew Jaeger.Jolia was preceded in death by her sister Katie Jolia.
Jolia never wanted to be defined only by her addiction.
She was so much more than this brain disease. Addiction is scary, it is ugly, it is an epidemic. Julia struggled deeply with guilt and shame. She regrets were many but nothing haunted her more than the time missed with her daughter.
Jolia was most at home in fields, on mountain tops, beaches, lakes and streams. She was a superb woods hunter and avid fishergirl. Her cousin, William, shared how Jolia looked out for his own and would have done anything for them regardless of the consequences. Her close friends would say the same.
Her family asks if you know someone struggling to please reach out, lend a word of support and encouragement. Educate yourselves on addiction to understand that beneath it all is great suffering.
