Isabel De La Cruz gained her angel wings on July 15, 2023 at her home in Brawley, California. Isabel was 86 years old. Though we mourn her departure, we find solace in the countless joyous memories she gifted us during her remarkable life.

Born in Brawley, California, she was a true daughter of the Golden State. From an early age, she exuded a vivacity that charmed everyone around her. Known for her infectious laughter, warm smile, and a spirit that never seemed to wane, Grandma lived life to the fullest.

Family was the cornerstone of Grandma's existence, and nothing brought her greater delight than spending time with her numerous grandchildren. From day one, she embraced her role as a grandma with unmatched enthusiasm, creating a lasting bond with each and every one of us. Whether it was gathering for holidays, birthdays, or simply a weekend barbecue, Grandma was the center of attention, spreading love, wisdom, and affection to all.

Her house in Brawley was a place of love and comfort, filled with the aroma of delicious homemade treats that she tirelessly baked for her grandchildren. We fondly recall the countless hours spent sitting at her kitchen table, sharing stories, and savoring the joy of being together.

Grandma's zest for life was contagious, and she was never one to shy away from adventure. She loved exploring nature, and trips to the local parks and nearby beaches were a regular occurrence. Many of us still remember the laughter-filled days spent building sandcastles and chasing seagulls with her by our side.

She had an unparalleled knack for turning mundane activities into unforgettable experiences, whether it was playing board games, telling bedtime stories, or simply dancing to her favorite tunes in the living room. Grandma's energy was boundless, and she made sure everyone around her reveled in the magic of life.

Grandma leaves behind a legacy that is woven into the fabric of our lives, an indelible mark of love, warmth, and happiness. Her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of her many grandchildren, who will continue to carry the torch of her joyous demeanor and unyielding love.

As we bid farewell to our remarkable Grandma, we find comfort in knowing that she is reunited with loved ones who have gone before her. While the pain of losing her is immense, we are profoundly grateful for the time we spent with her and the precious memories she gifted us.

In honor of her exuberant spirit, we will gather to celebrate her life on August 5, 2023. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to "The Humane Society" in Grandma's name and her fondness for animals.

Rest in peace, dearest Grandma. Your vibrant soul will forever be etched in our hearts, and we will carry your love with us every day, cherishing the lessons you taught us and the joy you brought into our lives.
