In loving memory of Isaac "Sonny" Harris, 75, of Springfield, MA, peacefully passed away on July 28, 2022 after a long battle with illness.

Born in Greenwood, Mississippi to the late Isaac Harris Sr. and Louise (Nichols) Harris. Isaac was fiercely passionate about Music from the start and dedicated his life to both his pursuit of Music and his family. Isaac put family first, always, and was a dedicated father. Isaac was a strong, loving, and supportive father. His knowledge and guidance was the foundation of his family. Isaac was also a Expert Fisherman and enthusiast in which he got nicknamed after a fly fisherman show "Gadabout Gaddis" , better known as "Gaddis " by loved ones he graduated from Putnam vocational High school formerly known as Trade high school where he was a skilled athlete in Field and Track also Football. Not to mention a Mathematician, He worked as a machinist for many local companies including Pratt and Whitney , American Bosch , and Smith and Wesson. As a Master Bass player he traveled all over the United States & Canada with his Band "Down 5 plus 5" opening for many of the Greats.

Isaac was predeceased by his Father Isaac Harris Sr., Mother Louise "Ma" Harris, Brothers Nathaniel, Earl, and Willie "Boat" Harris also his Sister Patrice Harris. He will be deeply missed by his children Robbin and Michael Jones , Timothy , Sonia , Assata , and Kashawn Harris , his grandchildren and great children. He also leaves behind Mother of his children Antoniette Harris as well as his siblings Margaret, Betty , Shariff, Gregory, Isaac, Karriem, Medina, India, Aaliyah, Hafeeza, Shaheed, Sahaladin Harris and a host of nieces and nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Friday August 5th 2022 at Byron & Keenan funeral home 1858 Allen St., Springfield, Ma 01118

Viewing hours will be from 9-11am, followed immediately by a Home going Service. Burial will take place at Oak grove Cemetery.
