Isaac Joshua Diaz, age 45, passed away unexpectedly on December 21, 2019. Isaac was born on February 24, 1974 in Orange, California and graduated from Dana Hills High School. He moved to Branson, Missouri in 1997 to work for 50's at the Hop Show. As a theater technician, he could operate sound boards, light boards and video equipment. He also worked as a carpenter, building houses, a theater general manager, restaurant general manager and hotel manager.
Isaac's true passion was cooking. He apprenticed with several chefs and attended the Culinary Institute of America in New York State. He worked for over a decade as a chef in the Branson area. Isaac loved life and enjoyed exploring several hobbies. He was always looking for something new to learn. He enjoyed building furniture, kayaking, yoga, making bracelets and knitting. Isaac loved his family and especially adored his daughter, Jade. He treasured their time cooking together, kayaking together and laughing together.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Stephanie Diaz, his daughter, Jadelund Diaz, his parents, Irma and Raul Diaz, his brother and sister-in-law, Raul and Melissa Diaz, his brother Marcos Diaz, his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Beverly and Melvin Taylor, his niece, Liliana Diaz and many other extended family.
