Irving's obituary

With deep sorrow, yet immense gratitude for his life, we announce the passing of Irving Antonio Ochoa, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family in Orlando, Florida.

Born in Venezuela in 1951, Irving led an extraordinary life dedicated to excellence, leadership, and service to his country. His remarkable career spanned multiple sectors, where he held esteemed positions such as President of CADAFE, Dean of Universidad Santa María, Superintendent of Banks, and CEO & Founder of FinanRisk, the financial consulting firm he built with vision and determination. His leadership left a lasting impact on every institution he touched, inspiring generations of professionals.

Education played a pivotal role in his journey. In the late 1970s, he earned his MBA and PhD from Suffolk University in Boston, where he also met the love of his life and future wife. His relentless pursuit of knowledge shaped not only his career but also the values he instilled in his family.

Beyond his professional achievements, Irving was an exceptional husband, father, and leader. He was known for his generosity and unwavering support, always willing to lend a helping hand—not only to his employees but to anyone in need. His warmth and kindness extended far beyond boardrooms, making a profound difference in the lives of those around him.

A passionate traveler, a lover of fine food, spirits, and great company, he embraced life with curiosity and joy. He had an enduring appreciation for music and the arts, often taking his family to museums and cultural institutions around the world, ensuring they experienced the beauty of history, creativity, and human expression. His thirst for adventure and knowledge made him a true citizen of the world, yet his heart always remained in Venezuela.

He is survived by his loving wife, two sons, daughter and two grand-children who will forever honor his legacy with the same love and dedication he showed them.

His passing leaves an irreplaceable void, but his life and example will continue to guide those who had the privilege of knowing him.

A private ceremony will be held in his honor. The family deeply appreciates all the love and support received during this time as they remember and celebrate an extraordinary man.
