We share in the grief for the loss of our friend, Irma, a warm and caring person. We will always remember the many New Year's Eve Galas we shared with Irma. At the most elegant and formal overnight affairs, we had plain. old-fashioned fun!
May our friend Irma find eternal rest in the bosom of Jesus.
Sincerest sympathy,

Dear Jay, Alison, and family,
Your mom/family member will always hold a special place in my heart. After all, she took care of me from time to time when all of us (Jay, Alison, and I) were little. Not only that, her kindness, sweetness, cheerfulness, and love touch me greatly even to this day. When I read that she poured tons of love on her grandchildren, that came as no surprise to me because that was simply who she was. The last time I spoke to her on the phone, she called me her "little girl". Such a sweet, precious soul and such a wonderful friend to my mother.
My deepest condolences to all of you. May the Lord grant you peace and grant dear Mrs. Weaver rest.
Love and prayers,
Kenya

Dear Jay, Alison, and family:
My deepest condolences on the passing of your mom/family member. Ms. Weaver was always a kind neighbor to me as I was growing up, and more importantly, a great friend to my mom. As an adult, she continued to be great friends with my mom, and whenever I saw her, she had that Ms. Weaver broad smile and hearty laugh. Truly a nice lady. She was much appreciated as a long time family friend, and will be greatly missed.

Irma was my neighbor, colleague and most of all my friend.
We met over 50 years ago; attended undergraduate and graduate schools together.
Upon becoming certified teachers, we worked together for many years at Grace Dodge Vocational High School. In fact, Irma was instrumental in my appointment as a teacher to Grace Dodge Vocational High School.
After retiring in 2002 (both of us retired in 2002), Irma and I both traveled extensively. Though we did not always travel to the same places, I have fond memories of the places we did travel together. We traveled within the United States to places like Las Vegas. However, the trip we took to South Africa stands out in my mind as a true adventure.
After that trip, we often spoke of the great time we had traveling with other educators to a country with such beauty and cultural diversity. And we were grateful to have been able to travel to a country where apartheid which had governed until only a few years prior to our trip was no longer in existence. Our trip took us from Johannesburg to Cape Town.
I will always remember the great conversations we enjoyed over the years and the support we provided each other both personally and professionally.
Jay, Alison, Doug, the grands and other family members, my husband Pledger and I extend our sincere condolences.
May my friend rest in peace.
With love,
Claudette
