In Loving Memory of Irma M. Vergara

Irma M. Vergara, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, departed this world on December 15th, 2023. Irma is survived by her son, Alejandro Vergara(Selena Amato),daughter Irma E. Vergara Canny and son in law, Hugh J Canny III.  She also leaves behind a legacy of genuine loving souls that extends to her six grandchildren: Courtney M. Canny(Ryan Zimmerman)Tiffany N. Canny(Logan Miller)Hugh J Canny IV(Karen Solon-Canny)Destiney T. Canny, Alexander B. Vergara, and Gabriela L. Vergara; and her six great-grandchildren: Zoey A. Zimmerman. Jayda L. Zimmerman, Mya R. Zimmerman, Hughy J Solon-Canny, Sage E. Solon-Canny, and Kash R. Miller.  Irma was the heart of her family, a dedicated and hardworking matriarch who provided unwavering love and support. Her passionate caring soul also endeared her to friends earning her a place in their hearts.

In addition to Irma’s caring spirit, she also had a gifted artistic spirit which she expressed in her lifelong commitment to painting as a hobby. She also found joy in the performing arts, often attending performances with her friends and family.

Above all, her greatest joy came from caring for and connecting with family and friends.  Irma leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories, built on love, laughter, and shared moments. While she may no longer be with us, her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.

May she rest in peace.
