With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Irma Gloria Cartes Irarrazabal on April 17, 2024.

Irma was a woman of incredible strength, wisdom, passion, and sweetness. A devoted Christian, she lived her life with deep faith and an unshakable love for her family. Her kindness, her guidance, and her unwavering spirit left a lasting mark on everyone blessed to know her.

Her passions were many — she found joy in attending church, spending time with her beloved daughters and grandchildren, traveling to new places, and occasionally trying her luck at the casino, always with a sparkle in her eye and a sense of adventure in her heart.

Irma is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Daniela Lara, Cristina Cartes, and Fernanda Carreño; her grandchildren, Andres Tejeda, Florencia Martone, Rafaela Neira and Matilde Martone; and her devoted husband, Gabriel Carreño. Her family was her pride and joy, and her love for them knew no bounds.

Irma's faith, her strength, and her unconditional love will remain with us always. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of devotion, resilience, and joy that will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Rest in peace, Irma. You will be forever missed, but your light will shine on in our hearts.
