We are saddened to announce the peaceful passing of Iris Staples, who left us on May 4, 2024. Born on January 15, 1943, Iris lived a life full of love, devotion, and unwavering faith.

A beloved mother and a figure of strength, Iris is survived by her two daughters, Dawn Staples and April Blan and her son, William Staples Jr. Their bond was unshakeable, rooted in family values and a shared respect for each other's journey through life.

One of Iris's greatest gifts was sharing her wisdom through her words. Her favorite saying was the acronym A.S.A.P., which stands for "Always Stop and Pray". This mantra not only shaped her existence but also served as a guiding principle for her daughters, and all those lucky enough to have known her.

We will remember Iris as a beacon of prayerful resolve, a woman who navigated life's challenges with grace, faith, and an unyielding belief in the power of prayer. As we say our goodbyes, we honor her memory by carrying her lessons forward in our own lives. Rest in Peace, dear Iris, your light continues to shine within us and your words continue to guide us.
