Iris was like a mother to me.  She took time to write letters to me as the military took me to many different locations.  She also took time to read my sob story letters during times that were so painful and difficult.  She was compassionate and gave me encouragement.  She sent me gifts on my birthday and at Christmas.  She also welcomed me into her home to stay for short periods of time and took care of me when I needed it.  She was a God send.  She will be missed.  I will never forget how she loved and cared for me and helped me in many ways when I needed it most.

Live a Life that God Intended, serve others. Live this by example.
Family is everything.
Prayer is essential- Mom was a prayer warrior.
Stand up for yourself, cause nobody else well.
