Irene L. Melady, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, passed away on September 6, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on April 20, 1935, Irene lived a life marked by kindness, resilience, and devotion to her family.
Irene was preceded in death by her loving husband, Patrick E. Melady, who passed away on August 13, 2006. Together, they built a home filled with warmth and laughter, raising two children who carry forward their legacy.
She is survived by her daughter, Kelly D. Melady, and Kelly’s children: Natalie Hamilton (husband Michael Hamilton and daughter Fiona Watkins) and Vivian Polakowski. Irene is also survived by her son, John Melady, his wife Kelli Patterson, and their children, Chloe Melady and Mason Melady.
A private family service will be held to honor Irene’s memory.
