Irene Sue Lami, passed away in her home during the early morning hours of December 24th, 2024. She lived a long and eventful life, but was called to her eternal home on Christmas Eve to be with her heavenly father.  She leaves behind two sons: Johnathan Lami and Arthur Lami. She was also a grandparent to Holly, Samantha, Andy, Joshua, Keith, and Jordan. 

More than anything, Irene loved to travel and at the age of 73 she finally fulfilled her lifelong dream of visiting Alaska. In her final days she attested to the fact that the trip was the highlight of her life. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at College Avenue Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the church.
