Mrs Eribo was a Great Woman, mother and Grandmother. I still remember when we were much younger and do visit during Christmas at their Dolphin estate house, it was all fun for me and my younger ones.  She was constantly checking up on me and calling regularly to ask about my welfare and that of my Younger ones. She will be greatly missed.
Mrs Eribo, mother to my dear friends , Taiwo and Kehinde. I met you in 1987 when I became friends with the twins. Your home was open to all their friends and so was your kitchen! I spent uncountable days and nights at your place. You always welcomed us. I remember you as a  welcoming, kind, calm and patient lady. Your love for your family was evident and so was their love for you. I pray for the Lord to console Isi, Efe, Osat, Taiwo, Kehinde, Uwa and the entire family. May your dear soul rest in peace

Aunty, I somehow took for granted that you will be here with us much longer. It's hard to believe that you are no longer here with us. You were an aunt that had the impact of a mother in my life.

Too many memories. I don't know which to highlight. On my birthday, you will call and sing Happy Birthday to me. It did not matter how busy I was, I had to listen to my Happy Birthday song from aunty Irene!

One thing stands out though: you were REAL. The way you saw it was the way you said it.

Aunty Irene, rest in the perpetual perfect peace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

My elder cousin, Mrs Irene Eribo will be greatly missed.

Every time we spoke on the phone. she would ask about every member of my family. she would ask about my Ministry which she constantly donated to and then pray for me,

We would miss her at our family reunions.also.

She leaves behind a great legacy of successful and kind children.

May her loving, sweet and kind soul rest in peace.

My condolences to her children. grandchildren and siblings.

Last time I saw Mama at her grandson’s graduation party, I teased her about her recent hospitalization. I made her promise not to do it again. We talked about planning a thanksgiving service etc. I gave her a hug.

Little did I know it was the last one.

Calm, quiet, intelligent woman has now gone to be with the lord.

Your wonderful kids will step up and make you proud.

Rest in Peace, Ma.

Mummy,

It’s hard to believe you are truly gone!

Sometimes, I get a piece of mail, or something  comes in the mail for you, and then I remember that you are no longer with us.

As I write this,  I think of your devotion, love and sacrifice on our behalf.

The love and care you showed to everyone, especially your children and grandchildren, was second to none.

You were present at the birth of all my children, and stayed on for months afterwards to help me take care of them . You were the best mother, and your love for your children and grandchildren was surpassed only by your love for God.

You were always there for us no matter the situation. You went out of your way to make sure everyone, family or not, was okay.

You remembered family members and even our friend’s  birthdays!

You were indeed second to none, and my heart breaks every time I remember that you are gone.

Watching your strength as you carried on without Dad was admirable.

Watching your health decline over the years was painful, yet your strength and fortitude was beyond measure.

“Mummy, you are a never ending song in my heart of comfort, happiness, and being. I may sometimes forget the words but I will always remember the tune.”

I love you, but God loves you more.

Adieu Iye-nogie ! Rest in perfect peace.

Gedegbe love,

Kehinde
