Irene's obituary
Irene Gayle Cowherd, 75, passed away on July 15, 2025, in Louisville, KY at UL hospital. Born on March 14, 1950, Irene lived a life marked by the love and warmth she shared with her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Shannon Willis; granddaughter, Christina Dixie (Antonio); and great-grandsons, Zaiden Baker, DeMont Stoner, and Traelyn Dixie.
A celebration of life will be hosted at a later date, and Irene will be cremated per her wishes.
