Irena Korzeniowski passed away on April 25, 2026. She was born to Alexandra Michalska and Joseph Gorski on October 17, 1926 in Wlodzimierz, Poland. She was 99 years old and is survived by her five children and their spouses, and two grandchildren. She retired to Toms River, New Jersey where she hosted traditional family dinners for major holidays. Then no longer capable of living alone, she moved in with her daughter Mari and her son-in-law Gerry. Gerry once declared that Irena could perform miracles with just a few basic ingredients lying around the pantry. Afterward, she stayed with her daughters Alyse and her husband Ray and Kryss and her husband Andy. Eventually, she landed with Mari and Gerry in Utah. She was the anchor of her family and she will be missed.
