Memorial events are private

A memorial service for Ira is scheduled for Saturday, February 14, at 11:30 a.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church. A graveside service for family and close friends will be held at 10:00 a.m. that morning at Rosemere Cemetery (1600 Auburn St., Opelika). In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a fund for the benefit of his wife and daughters.
