To Davis’ family, 

     I was so sorry to hear that Davis had passed away.  As I thought of him,  I paused to reflect on the first day of school, when the twins, Davis and Thomas, entered kindergarten at South Anna Elementary School., where I was employed at the time.   They were dressed so neatly and every hair appeared to be in place as they walked to the  front door of the school.   Family members stood nearby to watch, proudly smiling  at the beginning of their journey in education.  They were a precious sight to behold.  

     Now, Davis has gone into eternity, taken away quietly in his sleep, to join his mother and grandfather until we see him again.   Though his life was shorter than anticipated, his presence here on earth impacted many, and he was loved  by those who knew him.  Take heart and be comforted in knowing how loved and respected he was, and how much he touched  the lives of others.  

     You ,  his family taught him well.   When you least expect it,  God  will comfort you and reassure you that Davis is alive and well in eternity.     My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time of loss.   May God continue to bless you as you travel through life’s great adventure.  Davis is flying high on angel wings.
