Ingrid's obituary
Ingrid Ing Owens was born to the parents of Henry Vernon Owens and Ramona Owens on December 19, 1967. Ingrid was the fourth of five daughters. Theresa, Felicia, Vicki, Ingrid and Tammi. Ing was born and raised in Oakland California.
Ing attended Oakland High School, and later in life received and Associate’s Degree in Interior Design.
Ing was known to be the life of the party and brought immense joy to all that she encountered.
Ing was into fashion, beauty, and everything pink.
A fierce and protective sister, a loving and caring mother, a sweet and savvy auntie, and a firecracker of a daughter.
Ing met and fell in love with Vernon Hines Sr. that love produced three beautiful children Vernon Eugene Hines, Vernique Eugina Hines and Vernee Eugina Hines Sampson.
Ing had a relationship with Christ that was one of its own.
Ing spent her life as a devoted mother, dedicating her every waking moment to raising her children and grand children.
Ing relocated to Houston Texas in October of 2020 to be closer to her daughters and granddaughters.
Ing passed away peacefully at the age of 57 in Houston Texas surrounded by her daughters and granddaughters, sisters and mother.
Ing is survived by her mother Ramona, her two daughters Vernique and Vernee, her daughter in law Kristen, her son in law Reggie, her son in love Nate her grandsons Karter, Kooper, and Kaizer, her grand daughters Khloe and Zoey, her sisters Tammi, Vicki, Felicia(Bug), Theresa (Ree-Ree), her brother in law Kendall Small, Tony Allen, and Eddie Nelson, her sister in Law Yvonne Allen, her nieces Chaunci and Ronnadda, her nieces Jessika, TaNeasha, and TeNaj, her nephew Mario, her niece Pooda McCree, her great nephews Zyre and Jahseh, her great nieces Marianna and Brianni, her great-great nephew Zhacari, her aunties Dorothy, Margaret, and Duke, her best friend and sister Shelly, her god son Richard, her god daughter Asha and a host of friends and family.
Ing was preceded in death by her dad Henry, her son Vernon, her big sister Andrea "Pooka,"her great nephew Jesaun Roberson, her best friend and brother Larry Man Bishop, her girl dog Flossie, and a host of relatives who were waiting to receive her.
Ing will be missed, tremendously by all who love her.
