I did not know Chito for very long but, he showed me kindness when he didn't have to, he was understanding because he'd been there and lots of patience! He had a wicked and quick sense of humor, he was genuine and fair.
My deepest condolences. The world is a little darker without him here!
I met Chito when we were both 13/14 years old bussing tables at La Casa Blanca Mexican restaurant, in Old Town San Diego. although I lost touch with him I would often remember his kind humor and diligent work ethic. I tried searching for him on social media to no avail. My condolences to his family, heaven is a better place today..
I am very sorry to hear about Chito's passing. He had a contagious laugh. I will treasure the moments we shared. Rest in Paradise Cheech! Prayers going up for your family. ❤️🙏
My condolences to Ignacio's family. I first met Cheeto about 30 yrs ago now it just doesn't seem that long ago I seen Cheeto about 10 days before he went to the hospital the first time and we talked a little about some of the people and some of the times we had and we laughed but then we thought about everyone that's gone and I don't remember who brought up are most recent friend who died "Mikey" and we both came to the same conclusion that we felt he gave up for some reason? One thing I do know I seen how hard Cheeto was trying cause I seen him at the hospital the second time, up in ccu , I believe he heard me when I said don't be like Mikey it's not your time ! The only thing I come up with is God must of talked to Cheech also and told him he needed his warrior to come home. Cheeto Gods speed , all my love brother , Until we meet again.....
Chito and I always had muchial respect for each other, we both looked out after each other when we were doin better than usual, I told him one time that he reminded me of "my brother" , who apparantley lost his life the same way he was only 28 back then..and up until today I cannot figure out why ...I will never know the reason..and that kills me more than anything... Thank you for your friendship and you know you will be missed my boy! R.I.P. CHITO..
