Nacho's obituary
Ignacio Landa Reza, lovingly known as "Nacho," passed away on January 15, 2025. He was born on October 23, 1967, in San Gregorio, Guerrero, Mexico.
Ignacio is survived by his children, Diana Reza (25) and Joshua Reza (20), as well as his siblings, Isidro Reza, Jose Reza, Teresa Garcia, Israel Reza, and Araceli Reza. He was preceded in death by his mother, Berta Landa; his father, Roberto Reza; his brother, Crisoforo Reza; and his beloved daughter, Cynthia Yvonne Reza.
Ignacio worked as a warehouse yard manager at Charles G. Hardy in Paramount, California, and L&W Supply in Ogden, Utah, dedicating over 40 years combined to his career. Known for his strong work ethic, he was a respected manager and a valued mentor to his coworkers.
Beyond his professional life, Ignacio was a passionate animal lover who rescued more than 20 animals throughout his lifetime. He was an avid soccer fan, cheering for his favorite teams, Club América and the LA Galaxy, with unwavering enthusiasm.
Ignacio had a deep love for nature and enjoyed spending time outdoors. Whether it was hiking, fishing at Pineview Reservoir and Willard Bay, or simply being surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors, he found peace and joy in nature. He was also a car enthusiast who had a special passion for classic cars. His golden Volkswagen Beetle was a treasured favorite, and his red Jeep was his pride and joy.
He had a love for cooking and took great pride in preparing traditional Mexican meals for family and friends. His delicious food brought people together and created cherished memories over the years.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 2565 W 3300 N, Farr West, UT 84404.
Ignacio will be remembered for his generous heart, his adventurous spirit, and his deep love for family, friends, and animals. He will be missed dearly but never forgotten.
