Idamiz Estrella was born on March 28, 1981, to parents Rolando Henriquez and Carmen Perez.  Ida had a great heart and a beautiful view of life. She was a special and unique person. 

After her children, Ida's true passion in life was animals. I remember when we were little, we passed by an animal slaughter house and we had to stop her from going in. She was so upset because she wanted to free the animals. She loved to groom pets as well. 

Ida is survived by her six children - Orlando Estrella Jr, Lennie Estrella, Matthew Estrella, Xiomara Estrella Kasi Estrella, and Grace Estrella; her sisters - Quetcy Henriquez and Inez Henriquez, and her mother - Carmen Perez.
