Icarus and Phaethon's obituary

With heavy heart we announce the death of our beloved sons, Icarus and Phaethon of Athens. Both of them were ambitious and courageous young men who dared to reach for the stars, but unfortunately, their journeys ended in tragedy.

Icarus, my dear son, flew too close to the sun with wings made of feathers and wax, despite our warning. His youthful spirit and desire to explore knew no bounds, but his recklessness led to his downfall. We mourn his loss and wish we could have protected him from his own impetuousness.

Phaethon, my beloved son, was determined to prove his divine heritage by driving his father's sun chariot across the sky. But he lacked the skill and experience to control the fiery horses and lost his way, causing chaos and destruction on earth. We deeply regret the pain and suffering that his actions caused and wish we could have guided him better.

As parents, we are devastated by the loss of our sons and the consequences of their actions. We can only hope that their tragic fates will serve as a cautionary tale for future generations. We urge you to cherish your loved ones, respect the laws of nature, and embrace the wisdom of experience. May their souls rest in peace.
