Ibukun's obituary

Ibukun Eyitayo Adenuga (Nee Adewusi), a cherished and vibrant soul, born on February 16, 1975, sadly left us on October 15, 2024. Known to many as Ibk, Ibukun had such a unique and captivating persona. Ibukun filled every room she entered with love, laughter, and an all-encompassing warmth that will be greatly missed.

Ibukun was an active member of the Ilegrams Club 88/93, where her significant contribution will always be remembered. A devout attendee at the Christ Livingspring Apostolic Ministry (CLAM), her unwavering faith was an inspiration to many. Her eclectic interests ranged from Turkish Series on Netflix to socializing with friends.

Ibukun lived her life to the fullest. With a taste for socializing and enjoying the company of her close friends, her energy was unmatched. Yoga was her preferred method of exercise, and she often sought the serene landscapes of Turkey as her vacation spots. She was a kindhearted, selfless, loving, lively, and generous person, whose passion resonated in her every action.

The lessons Ibukun left behind encapsulate her philosophy: "Touch as many lives as possible positively during the short time you have here." Her greatest accomplishment was her children, whom she cherished dearly. Her legacy is one of kindness, selflessness, and generosity. A big pillar of support for many has fallen, but her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.

We mourn the loss of Ibukun, but we will remember her life with gratitude and admiration. May her soul rest in peace.
