It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Hyeisea Letitia Jones of Halifax/Ottawa.
On March 3rd, 2023 Hyeisea Jones passed away at the young age of 44 peacefully in a hospital located in British Columbia with a close friend by her side during the time of her passing.
Hyeisea was Born in Halifax Nova Scotia on August 17, 1978, Daughter of Kenny Carvey and Beverly Jones(Halifax), mother to Devonte (Ottawa), Sister to Anastasia Jones(Halifax), Ozsha Jones(Halifax), niece to Earl Jones(Ottawa), Wanda Jones(Halifax) Rocco Jones(Halifax), Anthony Jones(Halifax), Georgie Jones(Halifax), Monica Jones(Halifax), Caprice Jones(Ottawa), Velma Thompson (Halifax) cousin to Nehemiah Jones(Halifax), Martez Jones(Ottawa), Meshach Jones(Halifax), Jinehba "Neba Jones"(Halifax), Oshawnda Jones(Ottawa), Shawndell Jones (Ottawa), George Loppie(Halifax), Sereatha "Delle" Sweetland(Ottawa), Andrea Jones(Halifax) ,Florentino Jones (Halifax), Jasmine Jones, Chere Jones(Halifax), Jordan Jones (Halifax) , Mitchell Jones (Ottawa), Step Niece to Gale Sweetland Jones(Ottawa), Lifelong family friend to Jacklyn H-R (Ottawa).
Before attending Algonquin Careers Academy, Hyeisea worked as an Optical Technician.
Hyeisea Jones graduated from Algonquin Careers Academy in 2012 after obtaining her Diploma in Fitness and Health.
Shortly after graduating, Hyeisea started her career as a Personal Trainer and a Nutritionist, and during that time, she worked with women and helped them in achieving their fitness goals by providing them with proper workout routines, followed by educating them on how to eat healthy in order to maintain their work out goals.
Years later, Hyeisea changed careers and became a PSW (Personal Support Worker) and this may have been Hyeisea's true calling due to her kindness, generosity, and her ability to help people. Hyeisea stated the following regarding her work as a PSW. “I take pride in helping others and keeping your loved one safe. I’m a natural caregiver, I’m so grateful to have found a career that I love.”

Hyeisea Jones was a caring, determined, loyal, respectful, generous, loving, kind, supportive, strong-willed, and independent woman.
Hyeisea also loved pets, during her life she had various amount of pets, such as a Rabbit, Simba (Husky Dog), and Lulu (Siamese Cat).
Also, Hyeisea loved listening to music and one of her favorite artists throughout her life was DMX.
Hyeisea enjoyed helping her family, friends, and even strangers.
Hyeisea was also passionate about the following causes Animal Welfare, Children, Civil Rights and Social Action, Disaster and Humanitarian Relief, Economic Empowerment, and Education.
Hyeisea’s passing was related to issues stemming from a heart attack that she had suffered a week prior.
Hyeisea was predeceased by her father Kenny Carvey, by her Grandfather Leroy Vincent Rocco Jones, Grandmother Margaret Viner Jones, her Uncle Jimmy James Jones, and her grandmother Evelyn "Evy" Thompson.
Hyeisea Jones was a one-of-a-kind and she brought a lot of good moments and good vibes to her family and friends.
Hyeisea Jones was always willing to help a family member and friends, and would always show up for anyone if they needed her, and that is a trait that cannot be duplicated.
Furthermore, Hyeisea's perseverance, style, smile, generosity, kindness, and her contributions will not be forgotten.
Hyeisea Jones will be truly missed, her light, her spark, and her energy, even in passing won't be extinguished.
A funeral may or may not be held, and this is because it was Hyeisea's previous request not to have one, however, everyone is encouraged to honor Hyeisea's memory in the best way they see fit.
