Obituary of Clifton Hunter Epps

IN THE CARE OF

Caughman-Harman Funeral Home - Lexington Chapel

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Clifton Hunter Epps, a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, who passed away on the 17th of February, 2025. He was a devoted family man whose love for his son, Gray, and girlfriend, Chloe, was boundless. Above all else, his family was his greatest joy and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him best.

Hunter is survived by his cherished sons, Hunter Gray and Jackson, his mother, Cindi Federspiel, his father, Cliff Epps, his sisters, Brandi Bradley (Marshall) and Brooke Stacey (Max), his brother, Cameron Epps (Hayes), his stepmother, Dee Epps, his grandmother, Bobbie Boone Craig, his girlfriend, Chloe Otis, nieces, Mackenzi Bradley, Iris Epps, Shiloh Epps, nephews, Landon Bradley and Tyler Bradley and many aunts, uncles, cousins who meant the world to him. He is predeceased by his stepfather, Eric Federspiel and grandparents, Paul Boone, Wilbur Epps, Sr. and Helen Epps.

Hunter's favorite role he ever played was a father. He devoted every day to being the best father he could and to provide for his family. Hunter had a passion for music, skateboarding, spending time with those who meant the most to him and recently became successful as an entrepreneur and financial planner. His infectious laughter brought light and joy to every room he entered. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Hunter leaves behind a legacy of perseverance through struggles, and even in the face of temptation, he had determination to overcome any battle he faced. He inspired others throughout his journey of recovery and will continue to do so. One of Hunter’s greatest gifts was his ability to be of service to others.

In this time of grief, we take comfort in the countless memories we have of him. His kind heart, laughter, and love for all will forever be cherished. We will miss him immensely.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, February 23rd, 2025 at 3:00 PM with visitation to follow at Caughman Harman Funeral Home – Lexington Chapel, 503 North Lake Drive, Lexington, SC 29072.

Rest in peace, Hunter. You will always be in our hearts.
