When my dad was in and out of the hospital in January and February of 2016, I showed up unannounced to take care of him from February 14th to June 27th. We had 5 WONDERFUL months 

He was upset at first but quickly became grateful that I was there taking care of him.  I went to see him to straighten out his personal life. I lived with him at Freedom Village all those months and administration didn't catch on that I was living like a resident and not as dad's care giver.

I loved getting to know the residents, hearing their life stories, making jewelry, painting, playing bingo every Monday night, having meals with them, having dinner parties in dad's apartment with our friends and drinking wine.

I made such a spectacle of myself!

I purchased my new home in The Villages, Florida, November 2022.

I could not have purchased it without the money my Dad left me.

It is a wonderful place for me to live!
