Howard's obituary
Howard William Goshert, lovingly known as Howie, passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on September 15, 1945, in Pittsburgh, PA, he was a resident of Madison, FL, at the time of his passing.
Howard was a dedicated school teacher, devoted to shaping the minds of young children. His passion for education and commitment to helping his students succeed left a lasting impact on many lives.
One of Howard’s favorite quotes was, “Live like you were dying,” a reflection of his zest for life and his belief in making every moment count. He embraced each day with a courageous spirit and a heart full of kindness.
Howard’s proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly his children and grandchildren. His daughter, Hope Goshert Johnson her husband Harold Johnson. , his sons Michael Goshert, Keith Goshert his wife Lisa Goshert. Howard cherished his grandchildren, Andrew Johnson, Michael Goshert Jr., Leanne Dotson, and six great-grandchildren. He found immense joy in being a father and grandfather, his love for his family knew no bounds.
Howard was preceded in death by his Parents Howard Goshert Sr and Margaret Goshert and his Beloved wife Donna Goshert Together, they created a lifetime of precious memories and shared a deep, enduring love.
Howard William Goshert will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to education, his infectious laughter, and his boundless love for his family. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and resilience that will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
Pallbearers will be Keith Goshert, Michael Goshert, Harold Johnson, Andrew Johnson, Christopher Burdick, Michael Goshert Jr., and Jeffrey Dotson.

A private viewing will be held for immediate family. Services will be held at Revelation Missionary Baptist Church, 172 SW Range Ave, Madison, FL 32340, on January 11, 2025, at 11:30 a.m., with Rev. Jeff Anderson officiating. A graveside service will follow.
