I was so deeply saddened to hear of Howard’s passing. I had the pleasure of supporting Howard for many years at Velcro, but it was more than just a job he was a great friend of mine whom I looked up to. I will always remember Howard as a leader, inventor, cat lover, and someone who enjoyed restoring homes, boats, golf carts and more! Most importantly, he loved his family more than anything. I miss him dearly. May his soul Rest in Peace💙 Hugs

Dear Howard,
You will be greatly missed.
We all wished you could stay with us for longer. We are so sad that you could not stay longer, even though you had a full and blessed life with a great wife, two great kids and their spouses, and 7 precious grandkids.
You were an outstanding person, both in your personal and professional life. I treasure the conversations we had about Henry. You were a very sweet person, and a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather too. You set a good model for us.
We respect you and love you, and we are thankful to have precious memories with you. We hope we will continue to honor your memory through our love and care of our grandchildren, and that you will smile from above when you see them become outstanding people like their grandfather.
Love
KC & Yuchi

My condolences to Howards family. I worked with Howard at Velcro and enjoyed talking to him about work as well as personal matters. He always had an open mind to new ideas as well as always being available to talk about anything, his knowledge was vast on any topic. Thinking of Howard, I can honestly attest that Howard always had a smile on his face and treated people with respect.

I met Howie & Gerri when Howie was a senior and Gerri & I were silly, giggling freshmen. We became fast friends and, along with other friends, we spent most weekends driving around and having lots of fun. Our trips to Acadia stand out as some of the best times of my life. But Howie graduated & married Gerri & off they went to NY to start their long, loving relationship and family. I missed them terribly, but we stayed in touch, mostly through letters but with a few visits here & there. I was so grateful to reconnect and have dinner with them for each of the 2 summers before Howie started becoming ill with this dreadful disease. My thoughts and heartfelt condolences to Ger and family for their tremendous loss. Howie had a favorite name he loved to call me, so I will end with: I love you How-rest in peace, Moose ❤️❤️❤️❤️

My deepest sympathy for the whole Kingsford family. I worked for Howard at Velcro and I still quote the important piece of professional advice that he taught me, “If you and I always agree, one of us is not necessary”. That has served me well. I remember when you bought the beach house and how excited he was to get busy restoring it. Finally, the story of when you owned the chickens and had the “most expensive eggs” made me laugh every time. He will be missed, and his spirit will be around in all of us for a long, long time. Sincerely-Heidi Tremblay

You have certainly captured the. Essence of Howard in your dedication.
He had helped us many times in doing the impossible. We sat on a Murphy bed which collapsed Ready to buy a new one—Howard to the rescue with his metallurgy talent Bed is still in good repair . His fund of knowledge never ceased to surprise me . Howard will certainly be missed but remembered with warmth and fondness
