I remember all the bikes, doll houses, and other toys you put together for Erica and Evan, on your birthday, Christmas Eve. You always made sure they got the coolest presents, a cabbage patch doll, a computer one year, a puppy. I never could buy our kids, or our nieces and nephews clothes for Christmas, because you remembered how disappointed you were as a child when you received clothes for Christmas. Happy birthday in Heaven  and Merry Christmas Eric. 

I only spoke with Howard in passing. We lived next to one another for almost 10 years. I wish I got to know him better he always good with us, be it shooting nerf darts at us as we passed his house, or jamming out with his guitar on his back deck. I never got to tell him how much I enjoyed it. I hope he is at peace and I will continue to feed and look after his cats.
