Howard's obituary
Howard Dunn, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and entrepreneur, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2025. He was born on November 14, 1939, in Palmyra, St. James, Jamaica, to Egbert and Mable Dunn.
Howard served honorably in the Jamaica Defense Force for six years, demonstrating dedication and discipline that would guide him throughout his life. In 1985, he founded Montego Bay Limousine Service, a business that paid tribute to his Jamaican roots and earned a reputation for excellence and reliability. He was also the proud owner, along with his wife Gloria Dunn, of Dunn’s Villa & Resort in Montego Bay, where his warm hospitality welcomed guests from near and far.
Howard was predeceased by his cherished daughter, Georgia Dunn. He is survived by his devoted wife, Gloria Dunn; daughters Antonia Johnson and Monica Williams; son Wayne Dunn; and a host of loving grandchildren who will carry forward his legacy of strength, kindness, and resilience.
He will be remembered for his entrepreneurial spirit, generous heart, and deep love for his family and homeland. Howard’s memory will live on in the lives he touched and the dreams he inspired.
