It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Howard Stone, a beloved father, friend, and community member. Howard was born on August 21, 1944, and he departed this earthly life peacefully on September 29, 2025.

Howard lived a life marked by kindness and generosity. He had a heart as vast as the ocean and a spirit that touched everyone he met. His kind nature and sense of humor will never be forgotten by all who knew him.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and strength in his five children Crystal Lemond, Ladawn Jefferson, Howard Brown, Howard Stone Jr and Luciana Brown. As a father, he nurtured and guided his children to be a people of integrity and compassion, just like himself. His teachings and love will continue to guide his children in the days and years ahead.

The void left by Howard's passing will be impossible to fill. However, his memory will forever remain etched in our hearts. We take comfort in knowing that his life was filled with love, joy, and fulfillment.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Howard will be held on October 11, 2025, at 4:00 PM in Brooklyn. Those who knew and loved Howard are invited to join, to share their memories and to pay their last respects to a man who meant so much to many.

We ask that you keep the Stone family in your thoughts during this difficult time. May Howard Stone's soul, a beacon of love and humanity, rest in eternal peace.
