Duke's educational accomplishments include receiving his Bachelor's degree from Georgia Northwestern Technical College in Rock Spring, GA in 2012. He was a certified mechanic who took great pride in his work on cars.
Remembered for his witty, cocky, and humorous personality, Duke lived a full and vibrant life. His favorite things in life included tacos, chocolate milk, and history books. Duke was a fan of Styx and Queen, and enjoyed watching Smallville and Storage Wars. His favorite movies were Superman and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and he had a keen interest in mythological art. Duke was a passionate fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and loved playing games such as Hand-n-Foot, Skippo, and Zelda.
In his spare time, Duke enjoyed tinkering with things and spending time outdoors at Parksville Campground. Locally, he was known to frequent Chubby's BBQ, and his favorite color was charcoal grey. Duke was a strong, independent individual who valued hard work and self-reliance. He taught his loved ones the importance of knowing one's worth and how to be independent.
We will not mourn Duke's death but instead celebrate his will, his fight, his strength, and his stubbornness. His memory will live on through the life lessons he shared with those close to him, and his legacy will remain in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
