My sincere sympathy to the family.   Hoss was two years ahead of me in High School.   He and my husband  were classmates.
I had the privilege of working with Hoss at McEvoy in Okc, Cameron in Houston and in Bogota, and again in Houston and Anchorage. Hoss was true gentleman, dedicated salesman, and to me a special friend. I will miss him always.

Kristi and Stacey, I’m sorry about the passing of your dad. Losing a parent is one of life’s hardest experiences, and my thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time. Wishing you strength, comfort, and peace. I’m always here to talk or listen.

Our deepest condolences go out to the Smith family. We met Hoss through our good friend Buddy DiCarlo when Buddy was transferred to Edmonton Alberta Canada from Alaska in the late 90's. Occasionally,  Hoss would travel to Edmonton to attend oilfield equipment shows at which gave us the opportunity to get to know him. As a result, the 3 couples ( Buddy and Joan, Hoss and Cathy, and Darlene and I ) spent a week or two on vacation in Mexico.

It was one of the best vacations we have ever had. The mixture of Hoss and Buddy (who kept us laughing continously) and Cathy and Joan (the kind and gentle voices of reason) ensured that we had fun without us getting out of hand.

Hoss and Cathy were a great couple and we will always remember them both with great affection.
