Mrs Wagner was like a second mother to me. She was a great mother to her family and a sweetheart to all Joyce’s friends. I spent many hours of fun at their house and was always welcome. She was an amazing cook and baker. I loved her so much.

My father, Emil Fernandez Jr, was Honnie's eldest brother. Our family moved away from the rest of the Fernandez family which lived on the East Coast - we lived on the west coast, along with with my Dad's youngest brother Chris, and his family. I remember traveling to see Honnie and family, where I met my cousins for the first time. Joyce and I corresponded for several years, and as we grew up, we went our own way.
To my cousins - I am happy that Aunt Honnie lived as long as she did, raised some terrific kids, knew her grandchildren and carried on with her life after your dad passed in 2009. I will always have fond memories of her - many are the memories my Dad and Mom told us about your mother, and stories of your Mom as they were growing up! All of the Fernandez Brothers and Sisters are now together in Heaven - may their memories be eternal.
With all of my Love - -Jewel Ellen Fernandez Wellborn, from Littleton, Colorado
