Homer's obituary

Homer Matteson Hollander, Jr. passed away peacefully in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 6th, 2018. He was eighty-eight years old. Homer is survived by his wife, Dollie, four children; Lynne Cooper, Beverly Hollander, Janie Groneman, Zane Hollander, his ten grandchildren; Lara Rees, Valerie Cooper, Antonio 'Chris' Avila, IV, Rebecca Rogers, Kyle Jameson, Brandon Jameson, Danielle Johnson, Jacob Groneman, Logan Hollander, Mia Hollander and eight great grandchildren, his sister, RuthAnn Weiderman of Denver, Colorado and Kay Savage of Parker Colorado. Homer was born to Homer Matteson Hollander, Sr. and Leah Dorothy Rein in Hayes, Kansas on June 19, 1929. Homer worked as an aircraft Electrician at Nellis Air Force Base until he retired in 1984. One of his passions was that of being a Reserve Police Officer for the North Las Vegas Police Department. He loved to camp, fish, hunt and tease his children and grandchildren. He will be missed by his loving wife, Dollie, all his children and grandchildren and his sisters. Until that glorious day when we meet again Dad, brother, Grandpa and Great Grandpa. We love you.
