My name is Todd Olsen. I lived three houses down from Holly when I was 8 to 12. Holly and Annette were my first friends and we had so much fun playing in the neighborhood. My family moved away and we lost touch with each other over the years but I will always remember Holly was my first girlfriend. My thoughts and prayers go out to Holly's daughters, Annette and the rest of the family.
God bless you.
My story with Holly. It covers so much. Some I will share, some due due to privacy requests, I will not. I met Holly while working at Discover Card. She was such fun! She called things out as she saw them. We worked out together in the gym. When she decided to breed dogs, I was one of the first persons she talked to about it - then years later I turned to her for the same help. Holly was a person that you did not just meet. You EXPERINCED her. One day we were all going to lunch and we saw my hubby passing by in our crazy lifted blazer. Holly insisted we chase him down. Hainging out the window and yelling at him. Of course, my husband had no idea what was going on. When we met up Holly jumped out and said "We all just wanted to know how good looking you really are!" Holly was so much fun! I will never forget how she helped me with working out, with Mary Kay, with our kids and so much more. There is just too much to write about. I love her. Not in the past. But always. She added so much to my life. I will always think of her and miss her. She was one of a kind of awesome.

I am so saddened to learn this tonight! Holly was always a great friend. She was crazy-fun, always trying new things, crafty, creative, compassionate, and smart! She was brave and outspoken and as TRUE as they come... never afraid to share her true thoughts and defend the underdogs. Holly had keen insight and perspective from all her experiences and I am so thankful to have had her as a friend when I really needed that. She was also hilarious and so much fun to work with. Holly and I would close that place down (Discover) working just about every Sunday back in the day, and we really bonded over those long weekend shifts (20+ years ago). Holly, I can still hear your contagious laugh like it was yesterday. I loved hearing you talk about your sweet girls and your newest project. You will be missed by all. Rest In Peace, my old friend. Sending so much love to Holly’s family and loved ones.
My Condolences. Heaven gained such a beautiful angel. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family 🙏
Kathy my heart aches for your loss. Holly was so sweet and fun to be with growing up as neighbors in Blake Heights. I have a lot of fun memories of her and I hold them dear to my heart and will greatly miss Holly and her funny cheerful friendship. Prayers and thoughts to you and your sweet family. Please tell them all hello for me.
Dear Kathy, my sincere sympathy to you and your family. I loved Holly's fun personality. She was a great babysitter with my children. Prayers for you all during this very tender time.
I am so sorry for your loss, Holly was always so cheerful and the life of the party. I am saddened by this . We used to work at Discover card many years ago . She will be watching over her girls .❤️❤️ She fought a hard battle and was so strong❤️❤️
So sorry, for the loss of such a beautiful person. My heart ached when we heard of her passing, especially for her family, but I felt relief and peace for Holly to be free from the pain. I also felt comfort knowing her dad was waiting to greet her. There is a poem by Henry Van Dyke entitled
"Gone from my Sight"
I am standing upon the seashore. A ship, at my side,
Spreads her white sails to the moving breeze and starts
For the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength.
I stand and watch her until, at length, she hangs like a spec
Of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other.
Then, someone at my side says, "There she is gone."
Gone where?
Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast,
Hull and spar as she was when she left my side.
And, she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her designed port.
Her diminished size is in me-- not in her.
And, just at the moment when someone says, "There, she is gone," there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices ready to take up the glad shout, "Here she comes!"
And that is dying.
Holly, I will never forget us going to lunch one day (from Discover Card) and seeing my husband drive by. You insisted we chase him down and give him crap. You hung yourself out the passenger door and got his attention - he had no idea what was going on. When we got to his work place he laughed his butt off because you were so funny!! I will always miss your sence of humor dear friend. I will also miss your wisdom.
So very sorry that Holly Price lost her fight against the evil cancer. She will never be forgotten and remembered for her love of her family and close friends and her love for her Imperial Shih Tzu's she raised and other animals. Her joy of life and contagious laugh had her the life of the party. She enjoyed her life and was so proud of her two daughters who she loved so much and told me often. She loved her mother and told me so also who she was blessed to still have with her when she passed. She was blessed to have met her soul mate and partner, Vinny even if her time with him was cut short by her passing. She is the first mommy to my Lola and I shall never forgot how she reached out to me and shared knowing I understood her struggles with the cancer as I watched my mother struggled to live and beat the cancer. I guess another angel was needed in heaven. She is now with her beloved father who she loved so much. If love could have saved Holly, she would still be here with us now as she was so loved and will never be forgotten. She will live on in the Sweet Tooth Shih Tzu Lines that are in many pedigrees as well as live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Prayers go out to the family in this difficult time but I am glad they were all able to say good-bye and tell her how much she was loved during her transition on 1-28-2021. May Holly Price RIP knowing she was so loved and will never be forgotten.
To everyone who has felt the loss of Holly She is always with you in your heart, free of pain and with God and his Angles. Holly I always remember your kindness and how you supported your sister and my friend Annette at various events. Last I saw you was at a State Fair exhibition you were so excited to see your Sister perform... jumping up and down with excitement and saying "That's my sister!! That's my sister ." Good night sweet Holly ...
My deepest condolences for Holly and her Friends/Family. She always knew how to light up a room and I'm sure she is doing that with her Father now and watching down on everyone.
