Holly's obituary

Holly Ciampa was born on September 13th, 2008 and crossed the Rainbow Bridge to Heaven on November 21st, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Holly was a very special dog that lived her life each and every day reminding others of Love, compassion and what it meant for people to have a wonderful friend by their side who gave their heart to them unconditionally. In times of needing happiness or a shoulder to cry on, Holly had a very special gift of providing this for anyone and everyone and for that she will be missed by many who knew her. This includes her brothers Puma and Mufasa who she helped raise when they were newborn kittens and needed a true mother figure in their lives. Holly also had a gift of nuzzling you with her nose or jumping up next to you in bed, snuggling next to you and reminding you why a dog is considered "Man's best friend."

During Holly's younger years, she loved going to the dog park with her daddy David and Mama Karen and making lots of friends. One thing that set Holly a part from others was how outgoing, kind, and social she was to other animals. With the biggest heart a dog could ever have, she always shared her water with other dogs on hot summer days at the Dog Park and would love it when she was able to run and play out in the open green grass that gave her comfort and much needed exercise each and every day chasing birds, squirrels and even fireflies on a warm summer evening. One thing that Holly dearly loved was her older brother Poe, a big strong tiger striped cat who she absolutely adored. They shared long naps daily with each other cuddling in each other's arms and even played outside with one of their favorite activities catching possums at night and whatever other critters they could round up for fun! One night during the summer of 2016, Poe and Holly thought it would be fun to bring one in the house as a gift! This almost gave her loving mama Karen and dear sister Michelle a heart attack! Luckily her good friend Stephen knew the Possum was playing dead and simply brought it back outside never to be seen again. Poe and Holly definitely had a very special bond that was priceless and will never be replaced.

Snuggling in the evening with her family was a very special time that Holly enjoyed each and every day when she was younger and during her later years, watching tv, listening to her favorite music, and having family movie night with lots of treats. When it came to food, Holly's favorite meal was roasted chicken, veggies and white rice with Vanilla Ice Cream for dessert. Holly absolutely loved these meals that her mama Karen would prepare for her, along with the many kisses she would receive from her and each member of the family.

Holly was preceded in death by her sister German Shepherds Meatball, Lucky, Lilly and brother Poe Ciampa and human daddy David Ciampa. She is survived by mama Karen Ciampa, human sister Michelle Ciampa, dear brothers Mufasa and Puma, human brother Tony Ciampa (Crissy), nephews Evan and Sam Ciampa, human niece Amelia Rose Ryan, and human brother in law Stephen Ryan. Holly will be greatly missed and we loved her with all our hearts. We can't wait to meet her again once we cross the Rainbow Bridge together.........

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. Her bright eyes are intent; Her eager body quivers. Suddenly she begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, her legs carrying her faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.

We love you Holly, always and forever.
