Background
If it weren't for this support group, Mon and I would not have had any idea how to advocate for Hiraya's life. As soon as we received her diagnosis, doctors didn't offer much hope. She was deemed "incompatible with life" and was treated by some as if she was already gone. Our genetic counselor suggested we connect with other families through Support Orginization For Trisomy. This community of parents with surviving and thriving children truly gave us the courage to fight for Hiraya's Compatibility To Be Loved. We did everything we could to help support her incredibly strong will to live. Hiraya Ahsoka Gatchalian-Raga is our brave baby girl, and if it weren't for the resources that SOFT offered, we may have not had the chance to see her beautiful deep dark eyes. Please donate any amount you can to this wonderful organization, that supports parents across the US to fight for their miracle babies every day.
