Hirah Epps Crocker, born on January 9, 1978, in Buffalo, New York, passed away on July 17, 2025, in Rochester, New York. She was 47 years old.

Hirah’s life was marked by her deep love for her family and her unwavering kindness. Those who knew her were touched by her generous spirit and the profound care she showed to those around her. Her children—Hason, Raja, Rosalyn Marie, and Kenzie—were the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

She is lovingly remembered by her partner Bruce and his family; her siblings Erica, Russell, John, and Tiffani; her uncles James and Charles; and her adoptive parents John and Theresa. Hirah also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, and nephews who will carry forward the warmth of her memory.

Hirah was preceded in death by her mother Roslyn Renee Crump and father Wardell Epps; her brother Eric Epps; and her grandparents Barbara Chatmon-Ellis and Russell Crump.

A woman of Christian faith, Hirah found strength in her beliefs throughout life’s journey. Her legacy of compassion and devotion lives on through the many lives she touched.
