He was born in Union County on May 28, 1973, son of Michael Hinson and Patsy Hinson. He was preceded in death by his son, Ryan Hinson and by his grandparents. Andy had a long career in the Human Resources industry. He loved sports, especially the Carolina Panthers and his beloved Tarheels.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nicole Hinson; his children, Lillian and Reed Hinson; his mother, Patsy Hinson; brother Bucky Hinson (Leigh) and by several nieces.

Open hours for those who wish to sign the register book will be from 12:00pm until 3:00pm Monday, August 31, 2020 at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe. A service to celebrate his life will begin at 3:00pm in McEwen Funeral Home's Colonial Chapel.
