Happy Birthday Mom! Thinking about you and missing you ❤️
I learned how to cook and bake all kinds of yummy foods. My greatest memories are picking fresh raspberries from the yard and adding them to our morning breakfast 💜

Hildegard was like a sister to me. Even though we came to States from such different places. Hildegard from Germany and myself from Chile. She was a great friend and ready to help me in anyway she could. We were a year apart and celebrated our birthdays together in May.
When she left for Arizona it was a very sad time for me. We kept in touch on the phone and spoke often. I knew she had not been well for some time. But I wasn't prepare for such sudden departure.
I know she is in a good place and waiting for me so we can go visit our imaginary Tante Emma for apple kuchen and schnapps. Polly

This was one of mom’s favorite song and she loved this version by George Winston...
