The world lost a beloved mother, Hilda Wiggins, on April 22, 2022. Hilda passed away at age 96 in her home in the presence of her family. She was born Hilda Alvarado in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on August 15, 1925 to parents José Alvarado and Marcelina Andujar Alvarado.

Hilda is survived by her two daughters: Dolores Kidd and Linda Moody. Hilda leaves behind four grandchildren: Christopher (Beth) Kidd, Megan (Todd) Johnson Holtslaw, Erin (Bryan) Waits, and Evan (Rachelle) Moody. Hilda had nine beloved great-grandchildren: Zachery, Caden, Emma, Alivia, Harry, Milo, Caitlin, Jacob and Sabrina.

Hilda had an indomitable spirit and was immensely proud of her family. She was a devoted church member. Keeping with Hilda's giving spirit, her remains were donated to Wright State Medical School and no funeral service will be held. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
