The family moved to California in her early years, eventually settling in Washington State, where she went on to graduate from Wapato High School in 1971. After graduating from high school, Hilda went on to pursue a career as a beautician for the next 40 years!
She made many friends while working as a Hair stylist in Pullman Washington where she earned accreditation, then Yakima and Goldendale, eventually settling in Burlington Washington where she retired in 2015. Hilda was dedicated to her family and loved traveling to attend family get-togethers and celebrations; she loved all things Disney, traveling annually to either Disneyland or Disney World.
Her faith was unfathomable. She read her bible daily and would often joke that Jesus was “her guy” Her family is comforted knowing that she is forever enveloped in the arms of ‘her guy!’
