Going to really miss his big personality and presence. Jay always smelled so good and was a fantastic Santa. Always elegant. His love for Joci, Jon, and Fred was so deep and heartfelt. I will always admire the love and respect Papadeaux and Patt had for each other. They set a great example for all of us to watch and grow from. They taught us how to be kind to one another even after separating.  What a great example for all of us and for Bridget and Jay. Love never goes away. Patt and Jay met when they were 17 and remained friends through all the thick and thin. That's truly incredible.  Not many can say that. I really love and appreciate that.

Since this is a lovely and classy place, I'd hate to mention another nickname we have for him. But, let's just say he and Julie made some funny memories in Costa Rica one time.

I'm so blessed that I got to witness all of the intense and beautiful care Joci gave to her Dad. Caretaking is such hard work and often under appreciated. Joci's love for her Dad was on display for all of these years. Very beautiful  ( and painful) to witness. Jay had many caretakers; Patt, Jay, Sean, Abby, Bridget, and others. Jay had so much big big love around him until his very last moment with us.  Going to miss that "old goat."
