Mere condolences feel very inadequate. Bud was my best friend and Best Man at my wedding. We had great times together whether it was exploring the woods, tinkering on projects or just discussing and solving problems of the world. I'm forever grateful for the times we had and sincerely wish they never had to end...

We are so sorry to hear about Bud’s passing. You are in our prayers. Although our times together were brief at Leo and Carolyn’s, we so enjoyed visiting with Bud. He was funny and so charismatic.

Last time I saw Bud was just a regular day. We talked about life and its ups and downs. It seemed like even when he was having a bad day or struggling you would never know it. Buddy was a wonderful man. I’ll miss his witty personality, BIG smile and his friendly voice. He was truly one of a kind. ❤️

As a kid, we'd visit Buddy and Marilyn almost every weekend and I loved going to the garage with Buddy, working on stuff and playing with his tool. So many buttons and knobs. It was so much fun. Every now and then, he'd ask, "So what did you learn today, Denny?" I knew I had to pay attention. He gave me a booklet with all sorts of conversions and math formulas (I think I was in the fourth grade). I loved it and still have it. Whether it was camping, playing with do-dads, he brought from work, laughing at Johnny Carson, or just telling stories, I loved the time I spent with him. This went through my teenage years and as a young adult. Even after moving away from San Jose, I loved chatting with "Cousin Buddy." I loved him and will miss him dearly.

I have such fond memories of Bud when I was growing up. Our families loved camping, dune buggies, and exploring the outdoors together. I think my fondness of games and Family time around the table stems from watching our families gather around the table chatting, playing dice, and enjoying each others company. Gone but not forgotten Bud. Forever in our hearts 🧡

You were a great man, Bud… and I will be forever grateful to you and Marilyn (and Heather of course) for opening your home, family, and heart to me. You will be truly missed, and I will forever be your Australian daughter. 💕
