I was so saddened to learn of Jay's passing today.  Jay and I shared many many laughs in high-school. I will remember him fondly.

I am so sorry for your profound loss.

Miss you Jason . Always made me laugh and there when I needed a friend.  More like a brother to me for sure.  Until we meet again old friend one of a kind .

Tammy Hulls Birthday Party — with Jason Green and Tammy Hull
I grew up with Jay. My cousin Tammy Hull lived close to him and he was part of our lives from 4-5 and beyond. Jason loved Rock music and he loved hanging out with friends especially during house parties. Jason was one of the few of my friends that visited me in the hospital when I was having one of my many Asthma attacks. Jay was one of the first people I ran into when I moved to kitchener, ON and we had been in contact ever since. Sometimes months would go by but it  was like no time had passed when we did. They last time I seen him was 4 months prior to his passin for 30 min while I was in Hamilton for an appointment..it was brief but great to see him. I was absolutely shocked that he passed, a part of my childhood was gone..but I will always have the memories. Rest Easy Dear Friend..continue Rocking out and laughing. 😪😇🙏❤️

I can not remember my life without Jay in it. We grew up on Fishers/Hillside Road together. We went from playing war in the woods, building the best forts, as teens throwing dual parties  to having to live our “grown up lives.”

Sometimes time has a way of getting away from you, but no matter what gaps incurred as adults when we spoke we didn’t miss a beat, our conversations were filled with our normal jibberish(I am pretty sure we had our own language).

Jays and I’s friendship was one that stood the test of time. We would bicker and squabble, get really mad at each other, but we always bounced back.

I will never forget our times at the cabin that he loved so much, some of my best memories are from there.  The endless hours driving around in the “shove it” listening to The Rolling Stones, (Jay with Sympathy for the devil on repeat, me threatening to jump out of the car if he kept playing it”

Some of my favourite times with Jay were hanging out in his room while he simply played guitar. We would sit for hours while he played or was trying to learn a new song. Very few knew me like Jay did, and I don’t think a lot got to see the Jay I knew. He made me laugh like no other and he made me mad like no other.

I will always miss you Jay, and will celebrate the little things and the milestones that were taken from you. The world is different without you in it , it’s a little darker and hell of a lot less funny. Xoxo
